Part time Academic Officer for a research Project at the Department of Economics, UCPH (temporary position)

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled academic officer for an ERC grant to join the project team as soon as possible. The candidate will be working closely together with the scientific research team to facilitate a successful outcome of the research project. The project is headed by Associate Professor Hannes Ullrich and the employees at the research team are placed in Copenhagen and Berlin.

Your key tasks will include the following activities:

• Assisting in the application to obtain access to combined administrative data with medical laboratory data
• Preparation and organization of the required permissions by authorities
• Preparation of data sharing agreements with external partners
• Administration of register data and code for data management
• Maintenance of modified data sets

Qualifications

• Qualification in the relevant fields and/or relevant experience in a similar role
• An academic degree
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Knowledge of an administrative environment in a scientific setting preferred
• Knowledge of data management processes at Danmarks Statistik

Terms of employment

The weekly working hours are 5,5 hours per week. The position is temporary until 29. February 2024

The employment and the salary are made in accordance with the Circular on the Collective Agreement concerning academics in the state sector concluded between the Ministry of Finance and AC (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations).
