Hotel d’Angleterre is recruiting on call waiters to serve for our meeting and conference guests in our banquet department from end of July and onwards. Is that you? ABOUT THE JOB
As a waiter in our banquet, you will take part in the setting before the various events as well as the set down after. During lunch or dining events, you will be the host for your assigned tables and always put our guests' needs at the center. You will wait on our guests in a luxurious manner, and ensure that the event is flawless. During other types of events (meetings, conferences) you will attend to the participants by making sure that they always have what they need, by being proactive and reactive to any of their requests. You will guide and advise them by both knowing all the information related to their event, but also regarding the hotel facilities. In other terms, you will elevate all our guests. In some occasions, you will work independently and other times as part of the extended waiters team at big events. There will sometimes be evening and weekend shifts, and your working hours will therefore vary. The positions are available from the last week of July and onwards.
WE EXPECT
That you have experience as waiter from a similar position from the hotel or restaurant industry or simply have a can do attitude and eager to learn new skills. You are responsible and motivated both when you work independently and with the rest of the team. It is important that you work in a structured way, are precise and can make things happen. You constantly focus on our guests 'needs, so it is also important that you are a good communicator. In other words, we imagine that with your energetic drive and your passionate style, you make a difference with our guests.
